Do I need vaccinations to come to the UK?

Submitted by Kevin Stube on Mon, 2008-01-28 00:10.

Answer

There are no vaccinations required to enter the UK, however, delegates need to check to see if they require any to re-enter their own country.

NOTE: In some countries, if you are applying for a visa to stay in the UK for more than six months, you may need to be tested for active tuberculosis before your application will be accepted

Do I have to pay for my travel, hotel, and meals?

Answer

Yes, you do have to pay for your travel to and from Glasgow, your hotel while you are there, and your meals. During SGC some meals will be included. We encourage all delegates to raise money for their own travel through their university, employer, and other local organisations.
